Sourced from select high-altitude estates across Coorg, Chikmagalur and Wayanad, our export-grade Arabica and Robusta coffee beans are carefully graded, moisture-controlled and packed for international B2B buyers worldwide.
India is one of the few countries in the world where coffee is grown entirely under shade, producing beans with a distinctively smooth, low-acidity flavour profile. Indian Arabica, in particular, is known for its soft, mellow characteristics — quite different from the bright, fruity Arabicas of Ethiopia or Colombia — making it a sought-after origin for blenders and specialty roasters looking for a unique profile.
At Al Fazal International, we source directly from established estate networks in Coorg (Kodagu), Chikmagalur and Wayanad — India’s primary coffee-growing belts. Every lot is handpicked, wet-processed or dry-processed depending on the estate, and carefully graded before export.
We supply green (unroasted) coffee beans as standard, which is the B2B norm for international trade. Roasters receive beans at their specification, allowing them to roast to their own profile.

Monsooned Malabar is one of India’s most distinctive and sought-after coffees globally. During the monsoon season, green Arabica beans from the Malabar coast are exposed to moist monsoon winds in open warehouses for 4–6 weeks. This causes the beans to swell, turn pale gold and develop a unique musty, spicy, bold flavour with virtually zero acidity.
It is particularly popular in Germany, Italy and Austria, where it is used in dark espresso blends to add body and neutralise acidity. A small but growing number of specialty roasters also use it as a single-origin espresso.

Coffee quality degrades quickly if moisture, defect counts and storage aren’t managed properly. Our pre-shipment checks are designed to ensure you receive beans exactly as specified — not approximate.
Moisture is tested at loading using a calibrated moisture meter. Beans above 12% moisture are rejected before packing. High moisture is the primary cause of mould and flavour degradation during sea transit.
Green beans are hand-sorted and screen-graded. Defect count is measured per SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) standards or to buyer specification. Screen size is verified on a representative sample.
All lots are tested for pesticide residues and ochratoxin A (OTA) — the key mycotoxin tested for coffee by EU import authorities. Results within EU MRL limits are confirmed before release.
Standard shipments use new jute bags with polypropylene liners. Specialty and premium lots are packed in GrainPro or vacuum-sealed bags to protect against moisture and odour transfer during transit.
